How can I make a flat white at home without a coffee machine?
I want to make white floors at home, but I have a machine coffee. Any insite would be great.
If you want to know how to make milk foam, there is no easy way. Put about 2 cups milk (2% or heavier, or half and half) in a good steel pan in the freezer for about 10 minutes (it works better when cold start). Now, put the pot on the stove, heat @ medium / medium high, while whisking vigorously. Keep doing that and foam up. Go until it feels hot (not boiling) When you put your finger in milk, I will not burn. Never stop beating until done. For coffee, a cheap and great way to do this is with a Moka pot. It's as close to coffee explicit as you can get without a good machine and they cost between $ 25 and $ 150 instead of $ 700 +. Younger actually work better than large ones. You have to realize that as espresso (2 oz) cups, so a 4 or 6 cup model can only make bigger 1 cup of coffee or 2 cappuccinos. Bialetti makes the best known of moka pots. I was stainless as I wanted to last and never could get the aluminum one to seal properly.
