A coffee grinder can be used to make both ground coffee and espresso grounds?
Hello, I just got a coffee grinder and wondering if I can use to make the routine for both espresso and coffee. I am a coffee addict and drink about 1 liter of coffee a day ... lol It is also true that it is cheaper to grind your own beans to buy the routine? Just wondering ... Thanks to all who answer!
Yes and not: Espresso is a very fine grind and some (especially economic) grinders can not do well and not even enough for proper espresso. Now, if you make your coffee in a stove-top moka pot, then use a coarser grind and almost any grinder to do. If this is a high quality grinder is fine for any coffee drink. As to cost, is cheaper than grilling your own pre-buy roasted coffee. Pre-ground coffee does not really cost much more, but not dry very quickly after milling, grinding as his own will taste better def. If you buy roasted coffee, shopping bags and place the valve in a tight container air after the opening to keep it fresh longer. Canned and jar of coffee or is obsolete @ time of packaging or wrong by the pressure of CO2 as beans emit fumes for several days after roasting and pressure buildup is bad for them (thus sealing valve bags).
